In Practice

The ideal bicycle saddle depends primarily on individual anatomy, riding position and intended use. On a performance road bike, a narrower, lighter and more minimally padded saddle may be preferable, while gravel, trekking and e-bike riders may benefit from a more supportive and comfort-oriented design.
