The FSA SMR system (Smart Cable Routing) is a versatile handlebar and steerer tube combination that allows for fully or semi-integrated cable routing. Using FSA’s extensive knowledge of headsets and cockpit components, the SMR system provides a “plug-and-play” solution for bicycle manufacturers who wish to route cables, wires, and hoses internally from the handlebar into the frame.
The SMR system is compatible with both electronic and mechanical shifting systems, as well as hydraulic and mechanical brakes, making it one of the most adaptable and advanced cable routing solutions on the market.
