The Hutchinson Touareg Race GridSkin is designed for gravel racers tackling rocky, sharp and unpredictable terrain without compromising speed or performance. This model is the first gravel tire to feature Hutchinson's proven GridSkin technology, previously used in the brand's road tire range to help prevent race-ending punctures.
The knitted mesh reinforcement layer provides targeted sidewall protection, helping to isolate cuts and tears while maintaining the tire's responsiveness. Unlike traditional heavy-duty reinforcements, GridSkin has only a minimal impact on rolling resistance and overall weight.
The tire features the same Mach Tread 3.0 high-rebound compound found on the standard Touareg Race, delivering excellent grip, speed and efficiency for competitive gravel riding.
Its distinctive black-speckled tan sidewall finish not only creates a unique appearance but also reflects the reinforced GridSkin construction.
