4 Iconic Colorways
The C72 is offered in a curated selection of four distinct colorways. Each finish highlights one of the frame's most defining structural features: the seamless visual continuity between the seatstays and the top tube.
HFRD: a timeless black and red combination with a red top tube.
HFWS: a refined pearl white and silver composition.
HFBK: a full black version enriched with subtle bronze details.
HFTB: a sophisticated dual-tone blue finish.
The C72 is conceived to express the highest level of performance through the Colnago design language. Every element is developed in harmony, from the structure and materials to the geometry, forming a cohesive whole.
Improved Compliance and Wider Tyres – Up to 35 mm
Comfort and control are enhanced through improved vibration absorption and increased grip. A redesigned rear triangle and seat area improve compliance, while increased tyre clearance allows for larger tyres.
Tyres up to 35 mm can reduce road vibrations and enhance traction, particularly on longer rides and rougher road surfaces.
Integrated Storage Box
The C72 features a neatly integrated storage compartment within the frame.
By twisting the tab at the bottom of the bottle cage, the cage lifts away to reveal the integrated storage area. The compartment is designed to accommodate a repair kit and other essential equipment.
The New CC.02 Integrated Cockpit
The new CC.02 features a refined curved shape that enables a more aggressive riding position while providing improved brake control in a lower position.
The new cockpit is 15 grams lighter than the previous CC.01. Its design also provides less reach and more flare.
Updated Geometry – It Adapts to Your Needs
While maintaining its racing DNA, the C72 can be configured for greater comfort on long rides.
The updated geometry, with an increased stack-to-reach ratio, allows for a more relaxed, endurance-oriented riding position when required.
Lighter Than the Previous C
The C72 frame is lighter than its predecessor, contributing to a more responsive character and refined overall riding feel.
An unpainted size-485 frame weighs 895 grams, with no metal parts, making it 30 grams lighter than the C68.
With the right component configuration, the complete bicycle can easily reach a weight of 6.8 kg.

Continuing the Tradition of the Modular Frame
The C72 proudly continues Colnago's tradition of modular frame construction.
The frame is constructed from several carbon parts that are hand-assembled in Italy using joints and interlocks. The frame consists of 7 carbon modules, the same number used for the previous C model.
A New Design Language for Lugs – Panel Gap
On the C72, the multi-piece construction also becomes part of the design language.
Each junction is defined with the precision of panel gap matching, where alignment and continuity shape the perception of quality. The result is a frame that feels cohesive, refined and deliberately composed.
An Art Jealously Guarded and Handed Down
The tradition of modular carbon frames began at Colnago in the early 1990s.
Colnago was the first brand in cycling history to introduce carbon frames to professional teams, winning a technically demanding race such as Paris-Roubaix with the legendary C40.
Greater Care and Precision in Module Production
The individual carbon modules are produced using smaller moulds. This allows greater attention to detail during production and enables the manufacture of high-quality carbon components.

Blockchain Technology
Register your Colnago C72 on the Colnago Blockchain. The system allows ownership of the bicycle to be registered in a secure system accessible to the relevant authorities.
Registration allows you to:
prove the authenticity of the frame,
facilitate resale of the Colnago on the secondary market,
certify maintenance carried out on the bicycle,
report a theft, making the bicycle identifiable and unsaleable on the secondary market.
Registration on the Colnago Blockchain also provides an additional one-year warranty extension on top of the statutory two-year warranty already provided with the bicycle.
