Description
The Hutchinson Overide is a versatile gravel tire designed for rides that combine paved roads with off-road sections. It performs exceptionally well on hardpack surfaces and asphalt, making it ideal for riders who use pavement to reach gravel routes and trails.
The 700×35 mm version features a fast-rolling semi-slick center tread optimized for efficiency on pavement, while diamond-shaped side knobs provide reliable cornering traction on loose terrain.
For the 38 mm and wider versions, a pebbled center tread pattern improves grip and control in looser conditions while still maintaining efficient rolling performance on asphalt.
A bead-to-bead Hardskin reinforcement increases resistance to punctures and cuts, while the Tubeless Ready construction allows lower pressures for improved comfort, traction, and reliability during long rides.

Advice from a Pro
Bikepacking enthusiast Alexandre Cottebrune shares his experience:
“Bikepacking is one of my favourite activities. I have been using the Overide in 700×38 for two years because it gives excellent comfort and stability on a bike loaded with more than 15 kg of equipment. It rolls very fast on the road but is also perfect when the route becomes more challenging — rocky paths, forest fire roads, or wet trails. Thanks to the Tubeless Ready construction, puncture protection is excellent. During my last adventure of more than 1000 km, I didn’t have a single puncture.”
