The Magura MT8 SL FM is designed for ambitious cross-country and marathon racers who want to brake at the very last moment. The Flat Mount version accommodates brake rotors up to 180 mm, delivering the same braking power and durability as the standard MT8 SL on which it is based.

FLAT MOUNT DESIGN
Flat Mount brakes feature integrated threads in the caliper and are secured using M5 bolts. The compact design simplifies installation and provides a clean, modern appearance.
Using the same piston and brake pad dimensions as Magura's standard 2-piston MT brakes, the Flat Mount version delivers the same braking performance as the Post Mount model.
LIGHTWEIGHT RACING TECHNOLOGY
The Carbotecture® SL brake master body, Carbolay® carbon lever blade and carbon clamp make the MT8 SL one of the lightest high-performance racing brakes available.
1-FINGER HC CARBOLAY® LEVER BLADE
The popular HC 1-finger lever blade is also available in a carbon version. It offers excellent ergonomics, outstanding modulation and an ultra-lightweight construction while maintaining exceptional stiffness.
