Based on an activated silica compound, Continental developed PureGrip as a performance-oriented rubber compound for its Performance category. Developed by Continental's Korbach facility, the PureGrip Compound is designed to provide good grip and rolling characteristics together with long service life.
PureGrip sits below the well-known BlackChili compound within Continental's performance range and is used in both road and mountain bike performance tyres. It is produced exclusively at Continental's Hefei factory in China.
