De Rosa Titanium X

Titanium, a timless choice.

Titanio X is born at a precise point: where roads stop being a forced choice and become pure enjoyment.
It is a bicycle conceived for a new era, where routes are no longer linear and directions are never singular.

Its name carries the deepest meaning of the project.
X stands for a crossroads—or better yet, a meeting point. A symbolic place where two different souls recognize and complete each other.

On one side, a road-oriented nature, defined by smoothness, rhythm, and precision.
On the other, an off-road vocation, open to the unexpected, to gravel, to discovery.

With Titanio X, road and gravel no longer compete for the route.
They find balance.

At the heart of the project is titanium.
A material that does not follow trends nor fear time, chosen for its structural and dynamic qualities. Controlled elasticity, fatigue resistance, vibration-damping ability, and long-term durability make titanium ideal for versatile use on both road and gravel.

In Titanio X, material is not just a technical choice, but a statement of intent: to deliver consistent ride quality, comfort over long distances, and reliability in every condition. It is a bicycle that invites you to change surface, pace, and direction while always maintaining predictable performance.

There are materials that follow trends, and materials that move beyond them.
Titanium belongs to the latter.

It is not designed to impress, but to endure.
It doesn’t chase trends—it outlasts them.

In the world of cycling, titanium represents a conscious, almost countercultural choice: a noble material, complex to work with, requiring deep expertise, experience, and a clear vision. Over time, it has become a declaration of intent rather than a mere technical option.

Its uniqueness lies in balance: structural lightness, fatigue resistance, controlled elasticity, and a natural ability to absorb vibrations—qualities that remain consistent, kilometer after kilometer.
Choosing a titanium bike means choosing a machine that does not fear time, either mechanically or aesthetically.

CRAFTSMANSHIP AND VISION

Titanium has been part of De Rosa’s workshops for over thirty years.
A material that has accompanied the brand’s evolution, becoming increasingly central over time, until it emerged as one of the clearest symbols of its artisanal expertise.

Along this journey, models like Titanio X represent the most recent and mature expression of a constantly evolving tradition—a conscious reinterpretation of heritage.

Each frame is born from a fully artisanal process, crafted by hand, one at a time, at De Rosa’s headquarters in Cusano Milanino. From tube preparation to the final weld, every step takes place in-house, under the eyes of craftsmen who know the material intimately and respect both its limits and its potential.

For us, hand welding is a clear statement.
It means total control over the process and absolute attention to detail. Every joint is the result of experience, sensitivity, and precision.

This philosophy takes shape in the Black Label program: the highest expression of De Rosa’s manufacturing excellence. A tailor-made approach that places the rider at the center of the creative process, resulting in Made-to-Measure frames designed to adapt to body, riding style, and ambition.

A BIKE TAILORED TO MEASURE

Like a bespoke haute couture garment.

Personalization begins with geometry: the frame is designed around the rider’s real needs—their riding style, goals, and intended use. Road, gravel, long distances, or pure performance: the project takes shape around the person who will ride it.

And it doesn’t stop there.
Finishes, details, build specifications, construction solutions, and aesthetic choices all become an integral part of the process, transforming the bicycle into a rare and deeply personal object.

If desired, it is even possible to witness the birth of your own bike: watching the frame take shape, observing the welds, asking questions, and understanding every step of the process.

For us, this is how we build a direct, transparent, and human relationship.

The result is a bicycle capable of adapting, interpreting, and accompanying its rider—whichever direction they choose to take.

The Material
The titanium frame of the Titanio X is paired with a carbon fork designed to enhance steering precision, front-end control, and responsiveness—especially when the surface becomes uneven. This solution increases confidence and stability without compromising ride sensitivity.

The Geometry
The geometry is the result of a careful balance between stability and responsiveness. The setup supports long road rides in a natural, efficient position while ensuring control and confidence on mixed terrain.
On larger sizes, a more relaxed steering angle improves high-speed stability and gravel confidence, while the compact rear triangle keeps the bike agile and responsive, even on tarmac. Progressive reach allows an efficient position without compromising fit.

Recommended Setup
The recommended setup fully expresses this philosophy: a 3D-printed UDH dropout and a Campagnolo 1×13 wireless groupset—a high-performance gravel-specific drivetrain—paired with Bora X wheels.

A configuration designed to tackle climbs, flats, and descents with the same confidence, from the Stelvio Pass to the Strade Bianche.

The Titanio X is also compatible with the main groupsets currently available on the market.
