This model combines racing geometry and performance-driven details with the timeless appeal of a modular frame. The C68 Road is a true champion among road bicycles. A bike handmade in Italy to be enjoyed and admired.

Tires up to 32 mm
Cycling is evolving: increased tire clearance allows us to meet the needs of all cyclists and ensures compatibility with the widest possible range of wheels and tires available on the market.

T47 bottom bracket
Larger diameter bearings provide greater durability and reduce rolling resistance.

Increased rigidity and steering precision thanks to the new steerer tube
The larger diameter compared to the C64 delivers greater stiffness and an enhanced feeling of safety, especially on more technical sections.

Lightened and updated fork
The fork has been optimized to be lighter while maintaining the same level of rigidity and steering precision.

Integrated multitool
Sooner or later, everyone needs a multitool to handle small on-the-road adjustments (such as a flat tire). This tool is integrated into the headset top cap.

Ceramic Speed SLT headset
The headset bearings are treated with Ceramic Speed’s SLT technology, virtually eliminating the need for maintenance throughout the product’s lifespan.

Aggressive geometry
The geometry of the C68 Road also makes it suitable for riders seeking speed and more aerodynamic positions. Reach, stack, head angle, and other parameters are comparable to those of the V4Rs, our dedicated race bike.

The C68 proudly continues the tradition of the modular frame
The frame is constructed from multiple carbon components, hand-assembled in Italy using joints and interlocks. The number of parts that make up the frame—8 elements—is the same as the previous C series (C64).

A carefully guarded and passed-down craft
The tradition of modular carbon frames began at Colnago in the early 1990s. Colnago was the first brand in cycling history to introduce carbon frames to professional teams, winning the technically demanding Paris–Roubaix with the legendary C40.

A new process: banding
Carbon bands are manually applied at the junctions between the carbon modules, then filed and polished to achieve the appearance of a monocoque frame while retaining the best properties of Colnago modular frames.

Greater care and precision in module production
The smaller molds used for individual modules allow for greater attention to detail and the production of the highest-quality carbon components.

The expertise of the same hands that built the bikes of the greatest champions in cycling history lives on in a model that is already a classic.

HEADTUBE

The new split headtube is stronger, lighter, and more customizable than ever. The number of parts has been reduced from 8 (C64) to 6, resulting in weight savings (less bonding area) and reduced machining and bonding time.

FORK

Completely redesigned, it is stiffer and more resistant while weighing 40 grams less. The C68 fork features an external ribbed design that enhances comfort and improves overall ride quality.

HANDLEBARS

A dedicated new Colnago CC.01 integrated handlebar is available for the C68. While most integrated handlebars are made from several carbon pieces bonded together, the CC.01 is manufactured as a single, fully monocoque component. This design reduces weight and increases rigidity.
