Crafted from high-modulus carbon fiber with a combined UD and 3K structure, the SL7 delivers elite-level stiffness and power transfer while maintaining excellent ride feel. The rim profile is optimized to slice through the air—whether you’re chasing a breakaway or racing against the clock. At the heart of the SL7 is Deda’s new “Allroad” hub, featuring steel bearings and a precise 40-tooth, 2-pawl engagement system for instant response. Compatible with Shimano Center Lock rotors and modern 12×100 mm / 12×142 mm thru-axles, the SL7 is ready for any disc brake road bike.

NEW 23 MM INTERNAL CHANNEL
The new 23C rim accommodates tires starting from 28 mm, improving overall aerodynamics of the wheel-tire system. External nipples simplify maintenance and truing, making adjustments quick and easy. The ABS® system prevents loosening of nipples and spokes, ensuring long-term stability and reliability.

PTFE AND KEVLAR LAYER
A thin PTFE and Kevlar layer has been applied in the contact area between nipple and rim: this enhances nipple adjustment precision and optimizes fit, reducing friction and wear over time.

HUB

ALLROAD HUB TECHNOLOGY
With lower flanges, the hub body is more compact and aerodynamic, reducing air resistance and improving pedaling efficiency. The lightweight structure ensures significant weight reduction without compromising strength. The result is a reliable, smooth-running hub.

40-TOOTH RATCHET SYSTEM
The 40-tooth dual-ratchet system halves the engagement angle compared to the previous generation, providing immediate response to pedaling. The cylindrical spring ensures greater stability and consistent operation of the mechanism.
